LeBonheur Children's Hospital
While our national philanthropy is Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, we serve locally at LeBonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis, TN. Throughout the year, we plan numerous trips to visit the patients. Our chapter successfully raised the most money for LeBonheur Children's Hospital in 2017.
Our annual philanthropy event, Bonnamu, was held at The Lyric to raise money for LeBonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis, TN. Bonnamu is a "battle of the bands"-style competition held amongst the Ole Miss fraternities. Alpha Delta raised over $21,000 for Children's Miracle Network through this event.
Milkshakes for Miracles
This year, Phi Mu raised $7,000 for Le Bonheur and Hurricane Harvey relief efforts at Milkshakes for Miracles! Members of our chapter served shakes to guests, who got to customize toppings on their milkshakes. Thanks to all who came out to treat themselves for a great cause!
Cheesin' for the Children
Phi Mu recently hosted its 2nd annual philanthropy event, Cheesin' for the Children and raised over $8,000! All of this money was donated to Le Bonheour Children's hospital. Guests had the option of cheese fries, nachos, or tomato soup with grilled cheese, all of which was served by our members at our house. We were fortunate enough to host patients and family members who gave their testimonies. We would like to thank all of those who participated and helped us host this amazing event!
Phi Mu Alpha Delta raised the most money amongst all Phi Mu chapters in the nation to support fellow sisters through scholarship!
Members of the Greek Community gather together annually to raise funds against breast cancer. Campus and community members gathered together to walk in the the 13th annual University of Mississippi Panhellenic Councils Cancer Awareness Research and Eradication.
Sisters Day of Service
Each year during Recruitment Workshop, the ladies of Alpha Delta break into small groups and head out into the Oxford community to spend a few hours doing service and giving back.
In 2018, the Phi Mu team raised over $20,000 and placed 2nd in the Miracle Cup! Rebelthon also helps benefit our very own philanthropy and it has become so valuable to us.
National Hazing Prevention Week
Each year, the ladies of Phi Mu take a stand in a week long campaign to end hazing. We understand the importance of causes such as these, and actively promote a no hazing policy.
